What personal data we collect and why we collect it

We collect data when you create an account with us.

This may include personal data, such as name, email address, personal account preferences; transactional data, such as purchase history; and technical data, such as information about cookies.

We collect this data to retain user accounts on the site so that users can “bookmark” or store their favorite listing within the site and access exclusive information that account holders get access to such as special discounts and local offers.

Financial data

When a user creates an account they have the access to create a listing.  After creating a listing, they have the option to promote that listing or place it on a premium account.  When this happens, the user will purchase a promotional key or subscription.

These purchases or transactions are go through a third party eCommerce platform who completes the financial transactions on our behalf.  We use Woo commerce for all of our financial transactions therefore 417 Go does not have access to financial data when purchases are made as that information is encrypted.

We cannot see credit card information on our back end.

When account holders leave comments on listings our records retain their name, email address, IP address, time and date, and what listing was commented on.
